I had to suffer through the red sox game tonight with two diehards. Good lord, what a lame franchise. They did an "all fenway team" ceremony before the game, and there were lowlights aplenty: a bunch of people didn't show - Mike Lowell, Curt Schilling, and Wade Boggs among them; Roger Clemens, being the scumbag, shameless attention whore he is, actually did show up, and the fans cheered him (shame on them for not booing that piece of shyt); Babe Ruth made the team (HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA); Dave Roberts was the honorary pinch runner; overall it was just dripping with wack juice.

:heh:

shoulda just been dave roberts and curt's sock. 45 second ceremony.

Beautiful win vs Seattle but how do the as keep winning :damn:

They set the AL record for striking out the most in a season tonight. :leostare:

Between them and the Orioles winning all those extra-innings games ... I look at the standings like :what:.

May have something to do with the fact the two hitters behind him struck out 5 times tonight. :pachaha:

...or that they're both much worse players.

In reality, what it did was set up a double-play chance...and with a runner on 3rd an no out was the right decision.

I just had an argument with some dude at a bar tonight who was rambling about how no one feared Trout and every manager feared Cabrera...and yes he was a Tigers fan.

The highlight of the evening was when he said "EVERYONE FEARS CABRERA!"...and I responded with, "Maybe on his way home from the bar" :ooh:
