That MC Lyte Rough Neck video used to bother me as a kid cuz it completely went against her verse on Self Destruction

I feel the same way. She was saying “Leave the guns and the crack and the knives alone”, and then by 92/93, the styles and aesthetics had changed and she’s talking about wanting a guy who always starts beef and has a Tec

Similar thing happened in 2012 with my generation after Chief Keef came out. Dudes were wearing skinny jeans with blonde patches in their hair like Wiz the year before and as soon as Keef got popular everyone started sagging their jeans, getting dreads, and acting tougher than what they were

She made it work. She went off on that track. :wow:

salt-n-pepa, heavy d & the boyz were more successful than tribe. they had their biggest-selling years in '94.

and as far as tribe & de la goes, they didnt go hardcore but they certainly werent as soft as they were in their earlier days.

PLEASE STOP.

the jodeci picture is older than the 3-6 mafia album cover, which nobody even knew about.

this board and its 3-6 mafia legacy push.:scust:

No wonder this garbage only got one dap :mjlol: Live By Yo Rep was in 95, but their musical style stretched as far back as 91. There is no “3-6 legacy push”, they were truly innovators, it’s just that now people don’t care about the devil motif stuff they were doing.

:what: the f*ck are you talking about??

he tried to claim that jodeci in 1993, stole their look from a 1995 photo of 3-6 mafia.

i already knew that you retrospective 3-6 mafia fanatics are weird & delusional, but i now see that youre also illiterate.

Wow didn’t realize how terrible this post was, cause you clearly overlooked 1991 here

ll see your UMC's and raise you this.

but it was dope.... he flipped his entire style

My son Special Ed never went "hardcore" to be honest. But his style changed but that is probably more attributed to him getting older.
