As far as the Guardians of the Galaxy comparison: the only similarity is that they're both IPs that nobody had heard about before. Premise-wise the two couldn't be anymore different. One is an ensemble cast going on an adventure taking place on a galactic scale and also has the main villain of the whole MCU making an appearance. The other is a nikka that controls ants
I won't be surprised if this does numbers, but I won't be surprised if it flops. We're in Phase what, 3? People are now expecting bigger and better. They want each movie that comes out to at the very least keep the run of piff going if not be even more piff. I've never been one of those "Nobody I know is talking about it" people because it's a very flawed way of thinking, but from my perspective I see no hype for this
