The Black genes in that line are strong as hell. Her 75% White kids could pass for half Black.

Not really. American biracials tend to be only about 35% black.

When you want acceptance and approval from all quarters, and think you should never hear any criticism on any topic.

Entitlement.

A director, on a callback, had a camera shooting up my skirt and asked me to touch my t*ts and think about the guy making love to me in the scene. I thought, ‘Ok, this is a little weird,’ but there was a female casting director in the room and I’d done weird stuff before so I did it,” she recalled, without naming the filmmaker.

Years later, at a film festival, a producer told her drunkenly, “’Oh, Thandie, I’ve seen you recently!’ And he lurched away looking really shocked that he’d said that.” Her husband approached the man for some clarification. “It turns out that the director was showing that audition tape to his friends after poker games at his house. And they would all get off on it,” Newton said.

Thats disgusting. That director should be in prison.

I personally don't shyt on mixed people and considering the history of Black folks in America what Tandy says makes no damn sense!! Black Americans go out of our damn way to include everyone as black. I remember in the 80's when racially ambiguous people would show up on TV older black folks were always like "you know he black right. Jet magazine says the great great grandmother on his mama's side is black".

You couldn't tell nikkas that Paula Abdul wasn't black lol.
Black folks can't wait to point out that Lenny Kravitz or Slash from Guns N Roses got a black momma.
We never rejected Tandy or any other bi-racials. Let's not talk about how nikkas flocked to Obama.

She may not be looked at as "down with the community" but we never denied her blackness.

llmao Obama and Tigers look like nothing else besides black

Lenny Kravitz looks nothing else besides black, what else could they say he is

The reason why biracials are always lumped in with black is because that's what they looked like lmao

Thandie Lewis does not look black

Halle Berry just started look bircial in her damn 50's in the 90s nobody thought she was anything other than black

So since y’all shytting on every mixed black person. Halle Berry not black either right? Bob Marley not black either huh? Obama not black? Frederick Douglas not black? Malcolm X not black? J Cole not black? Shall I continue? To me. If someone is mulatto and identifies more with being black. How the fukk imma tell them that they AINT black?. It’s them confused ones that’s dangerous.

Its not shytting on something to say that they are biracial. :yeshrug:
they have no control over who their parents are, so why force other people to pretend like they dont have a white parent (which Thandie Newton literally did)

Tell me what's more disrespectful than pretending your father doesn't exist because of his race?:jbhmm:

Not because he's a shytty person
Not because he raped your mom
But because of his race
Which is 50% YOUR race

The sooner they accept that they have a white parent, the less confused and "tragic" they will be.:yeshrug:

Who said this? No, I'm really curious. I have never heard this about non-mixed Black women. I think people use "dating history" to judge Blackness only if the person is biracial. I don't agree with that logic, but for mixed Blacks yes, typically men are judged less on their partner choice than women by some in the peanut gallery.

I always thought it was because, at least in the US, mixed Black women married Black more often than not until around 2010 while mixed Black men always swirled heavy.
they always been judged in that same way. But due to agendas and climate in certain areas of the community and internet. The women do sometimes get more focus.

and they both seemingly swirl around the same, with the same dynamics. Those that identify as black(which is a huge portion) date black much of the time. While those that are more "neutral"/confused are more likely to "swirl" than the black identifed ones. Plus the "neutral" type seem to be dating mixed w/ black people like them I notice.

it aint just them, I notice alot of lightskin black people are getting together more often. They always have, but its like a increase how i see it. Nothing wrong with that tho just a observation.
