Colombia dude, you’re crazy for even comparing.
Marrying someone overseas with no skills and no education is a disaster. Wtf gonna happen if you get injured and you can’t work anymoreA lot of funny answers here. If you do a search history on this site though, a lot of people talk about this.
@Malcolmxxx_23 you are correct. The most diversity in women is here in the USA, but if for a number of reasons you're trying to live somewhere else for 1-2 years, then we're no longer talking about just that one category.
@Windows 91 you are also correct. I know that I wrote a lot. You think that I didn't expect some of these replies before I hit post.
Still, I know that what I typed up will help some people with their own research.
@Jesus H. Christ forgive me for saying this, but you sound immature.
@YvrzTrvly you are wrong this time, but you did drop some truth bombs. It's good because the other posters can read them. This ain't post-world war II anymore. These women out here have options. Some are still going to give in due to a westerners big bank roll, but you still got to know how to talk the talk and walk the walk. If you can't even say "Hi" in your own home state, then you will struggle overseas as well. This can be corrected though.
@YvrzTrvly I know that you get mad play in your place of residence, but there's more to life than that. Isn't there?
A couple of quick comments. I just stated 2 years because I didn't want to make such a huge list for something that was going to be 1-2 months. Realistically 1-2 years is a good marker for anybody to think about when making such a list, because then they're not just a tourist, but someone actually living there.@InterestedNow
Your history shows you are dominican and Colombian ancestry?
Do you have family in Colombia? Where are your family roots at in Colombia. Have you talked with your family?
What are you going to do for money? Your list does not mention anything about working or employment. You will be going with income from a pension? Savings?
Also, your list always goes back to women or interacting with women every 3-4 questions.
Are you being honest with yourself? Are you really going for women? Are you a sugar daddy type of guy?
Of course Thailand baht currency will be more cost effective in terms of buying power If you are converting USD.
You picked 2 years, is this for a trial run? Long "vacation" . Do you want to leave America?
Also, your post history shows you from Queens , so how are you going to pay rent in queens and live in another country? You said 2 years. So I'm assuming you are coming back to America.
FYI, majority of the white folks on reddit is going to say Thailand due to it being overwhelmingly white males and they like transsexuals. But another reason is, alot ofnposters on reddit who has exp in Thailand, they usually all work in tech overwhelmingly.
The Colombian peso is 4900 pesos to the dollar right now.@InterestedNow

This one white goofy who dealt with ladyboys in Cambodia said that there was some low key racism against the Black English teachers and they paid the white english teachers more becaise they assumed they were smarter.Colombia because there are a lot of Afro-Latinos there. Ain't no way I could live in a country where there aren't any black people or they're an extreme minority.
Are you from France? I've spent time in France I dug it.I haven't been to either country so you can discard anything I'll say. But I like the way you broke it down, even though some of the categories I wouldn't have though of. That being said, as someone who lives in the west (I'm in France), Thailand seems to be the more of a "culture shock", because Colombia is Latin America, meaning influenced by Europe and is close to the US, so depends what you're looking for. Do you want something that is different but not TOO different, or are you looking for a drastic change? Me I'm also interested in the language so it would be easier for me in Colombia with spanish than in Thailand (without even getting into the alphabet situation), but there again it depends if you're interested in the linguistic challenge or not. I guess what I'm saying is that you might have more chances of being close to a local life in Colombia than in Thailand, where I guess it's easier to end up trapped in a sort of "expat" life with all the other westerners who don't really speak the local language. Also obviously in Colombia it would be easier to come back to the US every now and then (I assume you're in the US), but on the other hand in Thailand you can take advantage and visit other south east Asian countries, but might be more prone to homesickeness
Either way I don't really think you can wrong, tbh I wish I had the balls to even contemplate a big move like that.
I'm starting to think this is a thought experiment/ Plat thread bait. You just said you went to Colombia. My guy didn't you notice the zillions of short time hotels damn near anywhere?A couple of quick comments. It's funny you mentioned that I mentioned women a lot. I just typed up the thread as it came to me. I didn't edit it or plan it out. I do have a lot of family in Colombia, so in a way, that would probably make me less likely to be too much of a womanizer over there because I worry that rumors would spread around the family and, while it's okay for a guy to do it, there's still is a little bit of a negative stigma.
Somebody mentioned that I didn't ask about work, but one of the first questions was about remote work and internet speed.
I'm not a sugar daddy type, but I'm not one of these new age incels either. I'm not going to argue with a woman and demand hat she pay her half of the bill if I invited her out to dinner. Everything is a case-by-case basis. And while the list applies mostly to me, because I am the one that chose those two countries to be considered, I also wanted a more general discussion. That's why I mentioned other things that don't apply to me too (like dating men, etc.).
I thought about making a New York versus Philly one, but I'm pretty sure that everyone would agree that New York would win a landslide, but what about for other states or other countries they have a similar fandom?
About THB, I haven't looked into it in a while, but I can tell you that the Colombian peso is very cheap right now. For example, I feel like Colombia is significantly cheaper than DR at the moment.
I still might try to post it on Reddit. Some of the responses may be predictable, but every so often you'll find a gem (similar to how it is here).
Thank you for your comments.
