Everyone was laughing at Texas last year about the power outages, but when it's coming to California, all of a sudden it's a lot more quiet.

The reality is that it'll be the middle and lower class that pay for everything. Like beaniemac mentioned, all the celebs will be blasting their ACs, watering their lawns and golf courses, going ice skating in their upscale malls, flying on jets, etc., while everyone else has to live in poverty and suffer. This is the kind of thing that has created revolutions over and over in societies throughout history, and sadly, it looks like it's going to happen again because of the greed from the top.
