This kind of recall is not any different from other recalls
The problem probably occurs in a small percentage of the trucks
My wifes car has a recall for a few years where the hinge on the trunk needs replaced and we still haven't had it replaced.
I had a Ford Explorer way back in the early 2000a when the Firestone tires were exploding
I didn't get them replaced until I wore out the current tires because that issue only happened a few random times but Ford was forced to replace them all.

Recall after 3000 vehicles delivered is a tad unusual breh

Toyota had a huge scandal a decade ago because their floor mats were causing pedals to get stuck and they had to recall 10 million cars. There was a 911 call in 2009 where a man had his pedal stuck going 100mph, ended up crashing and killing his whole family. I think 90 people died because of the issue before they recalled the vehicles.

The incident was caused by the wrong floor mat being put into a Lexus loaner car by a dealer, where the proper clips weren’t used

There have been zero incidents regarding mats other than that one
