This kind of recall is not any different from other recalls :yeshrug:
The problem probably occurs in a small percentage of the trucks
My wifes car has a recall for a few years where the hinge on the trunk needs replaced and we still haven't had it replaced.
I had a Ford Explorer way back in the early 2000a when the Firestone tires were exploding:russ:
I didn't get them replaced until I wore out the current tires because that issue only happened a few random times but Ford was forced to replace them all.

I actually love the design since it’s pure aerodynamics, the weight and battery density is where this thing really falls on its face. I’ll get one once they deliver the 500 mile range at $70k price point since Tesla loves to cut prices

⚠️CAUTION
Do not wash in direct sunlight.

⚠️CAUTION
Do not aim water hoses directly at windows, door, or hood seals or at electronic modules or exposed cabling.

⚠️CAUTION
To avoid corrosive damage that may not be covered by the warranty, rinse away any road salt from the underside of the vehicle, wheel wells, and brakes. After cleaning the vehicle, dry the brakes by going on a short drive and applying the brakes multiple times.

⚠️CAUTION
Avoid using tight-napped or rough cloths, such as washing mitts. A high-quality microfiber cleaning cloth is recommended.

Atleast they caught it before anyone died.

Toyota had a huge scandal a decade ago because their floor mats were causing pedals to get stuck and they had to recall 10 million cars. There was a 911 call in 2009 where a man had his pedal stuck going 100mph, ended up crashing and killing his whole family. I think 90 people died because of the issue before they recalled the vehicles.
