They shouldn't be. They were never submitted to MPA. For whatever reason some movie theatres will take an Unrated movie over a NC-17 movie.

Yes the screenings seem to be locked in with AMC at the moment but they started going live last week.
There’s also a special screening at select locations for Terrifier 2 and 3 double feature.

I watched the first one tonight. Absolute trash and they sharked that scene from Bone Tomahawk to kill Dawn.
The shame is Art The Clown is a great costume and character design.
I'm gonna suffer through the second one soon but I can't believe it's over two hours long. This dragged and it was almost half the length.

the Bedroom scene in part 2 still gets to me man, just pure fukkery after fukkery..i know its laughable but the thought of a Mother coming home and finding her daughter looking like that and in scorching pain to death is just sick.
