Yeah, gonna have to pass on this. That movie people raved about where the girl lost her head in a car accident was too much for me.
That was the line for me as well

Used to love slasher flicks when i was a teenager. But I have noticed recently I have no urge to watch. Nothing against anyone that does. You end up desensitized to violence

But, who did the practical effects? Looks great, that is good they are using practical as opposed to CGI

All Hollows Eve
Terrifior 1
Terrifior 2

Should be watched in that order... :ohlawd:

Big shout to all the real horror movie bros and sistas.

This is the order, but I caught terrifier 1 first then had to go back to hollows eve.

If they make a terrifier 3 my world would completely shut down lol

Edit: did not know they were making a terrifier 3 and it comes out next week :blessed:

I still like scary movies. But those movies that seem like they wanna gross you out more than scare or enterain arent really for me. I should be able to eat my nachos while watching:scust:

I'd say John Kramer from Saw deserves it. Although he's in year 20 since his debut so he might be too old.

After seeing more of these movies I agree. I can see the influence of movies like Blood Rage and Pieces. Pieces has the so bad it's good vibe though which isn't like Terrifier.
I agree, and he’s definitely a horror icon. Most people know what time it is whenever they see the Jigsaw doll show up in pop culture. I’m just not seeing it for the Annabelles, Megans, and Abigails though.

They get spoofed in an SNL skit, but it’s hard to see myself still thinking about them years down the line like I do for Freddy, Jason, and Michael Myers, when it comes to overall impact on the horror genre.

OT - I’d like to see Wan or Whannell come back and actually write and direct another Saw film someday. :ehh:

Oh no.... 'Hereditary' was way better than this... I can't even see how it's a comp. I'm not against "gore porn" or whatever people wanna call it but I just thought this sucked and was boring. I didn't watch the second one.

I was hoping for fukkery, yes. It delivered on that. But no story at all? And they don't explain why the fukking guy can't die? Or what he is vulnerable to?

At that point it's just kill.... another kill.... another kill.... and I'm like :russell:

Not saying it about anyone here but it feels like a lot of the YouTubers who love this movie are people that are likely on watchlists, weirdo cacs who like to see pretty women get assaulted...

You know what I mean

I respect that. I’m not watching Terrifier for the story though. It’s really for the kills. It’s like them throwback schlocky slashers of the 80s that were tucked away in the back of the video stores.:pachaha:
Hit the nail on the head. That’s the point of this franchise. No one should be asking for a decent story. :heh:
