Errol Spence when he foght a lightweight that wasn't ranked in the top 200 at 147 in any organization.. Thurman when he fought Lopez.... Nobody cares about these fake ass rankings you putting all this stock in. they have Kieth thurman ranked #3 and in the past 5 years he's only beaten 1 legit welterweight. bum ass josesito lopez 3 years ago.. Yeah i'd be taking anything Floyd says about bank balances in 2022 with a grain of salt.Floyd having control at PBC (outside of his own promotional unit) is news to me. So Floyd got paid from Canelo vs Plant?
I know Floyd has hinted at signing Crawford before so not surprised he's involved in these negotiations but he's making it sound like he's involved at every level with PBC.
- This is the same 2022 Floyd that has Russian Oligarch bail out support after running afoul of the IRS.
- This is the same 2022 Floyd that fights youtubers and local fighters/celebrities in the Middle East and Japan to keep afloat.
- This is the same 2022 Floyd that has to run boxing clinics/demos in Russia as a front for financial assistance (RJJ, Segal and Tsyzu do too.)
- This is the same 2022 Floyd that advertises meet and greets and vehicle rental as extra means.

Either way you slice it, this should not have been the next fight for Bud. You can't make a big fuss about PBC opening the books to see if the money is there for the biggest fight in the sport and then turn around and fight a nobody on an upstart app with no history of providing anyone an 8 figure guarantee.

If Porter had not been mandated, he would've fought this guy then. So tell me how was Bud trying to fight Spence in November 2021? This dude always been in play for Bud. In the interview, he said, not me, that this go round the fight was negotiated in 48 hours. This fight could've been made if he was looking for a tune up. Why wait until the final hour to pull this fight out of your pocket? I understand there's a lot of business stuff that goes on behind closed doors that us fans aren't privy to and we're left speculating. But, it's fair to say that this guy has been in Bud's back pocket for well over a year. For this to play out the way its played out, at some point we have to look at Bud and question what he really trying to do here. I've yet to see anything close to this type of fukkery from the other side, so why are so many of yall on here trying to create other narratives when the actual people involved are telling you what it is?
Even Bob told us that the fight wasn't even realistic to even think about because of the guarantee Bud would ask for and that he wasn't gonna invest in it cause he loses money on Bud. I can see your comprehension is lacking... November 2021 is when he fought Porter.. Porter had been mandated for many months leading up to that fight. What he's saying is if that fight fell through he woulda fought Aveneysean as the last fight on his TR contract as a backup.
SINCE Nov 2021 after TKOing Porter he left TR AFTER the Porter fight.. From that point he was looking to face Spence while Spence was wasting more time looking to face someone else instead of going into negotiations with the big fight with Bud... And he was dead set on facing Spence next in 2022 thats why he hadn't taken another fight until now in Dec because Spwnce side was bullshytting
