Another thing people need to come to the realization of is that college football is not that big in the black community. We love the NBA and NFL though and will spend money to attend games. College football is usually some shyt that we'll watch casually but not passionately.

At the very least, like you said, it's mad casuals. But We not watching at any less of a clip than any other race, prob even more so with our per capita #s

I think the NBA is at like 45% nicca viewership and that's about the same as far as casual watching with CFB

TSU admins are stupid, imo.

- They play in a dying conference no one gives a fukk about. (UT Martin and TN Tech )
- They have an on-campus stadium but lease their home games at Titans stadium.
- Constantly getting pimped out by Memphis promoters to play there every year. (Prime saw the money wasn't right and got Jackson St outta there)
- Now they having a discussion about going FBS. (They have to cough 5 milly now )

Just dumb decisions by them and the AD.
- They are about to do another big lease for the Titans' new stadium instead of trying to renovate their own stadium.
- Not utilizing Nissan Stadium for big non-conf games (JSU, NCAT, ALST, FAMU and even SU)
- Not establishing a home and home with Alabama A&M, which is only two hours from Nashville.

Jackson, MS is 80% Black and the vast majority of Tennessee State alumni base live 4 hours away in Memphis.

Dont come in here and try to make TSU problems, problems for HBCU football in general. TSU never really had fan support because they got an off campus stadium they play in and it’s way too large a venue for their nor attendance. Plus they don’t play many other HBCUs cause they too good to join the SWAC or MEAC.

People need to get out of this silly notion that you can build the next bama or Georgia with the right coach. If your school doesn’t have the infrastructure in place sustain a powerhouse it’s not happening

At some point, if the community is serious, we're gonna have to have the conversation about how alumni (and other Black companies and organizations) don't financially support HBCUs, but then arrogantly criticize coaches when they move on from there due to lack of resources... and then play the "you owed the community more/better than that" card.
