I thought people were overreacting about Leroy until I played one. He’s got a top tier version of almost every tool in the game without any of the execution barrier. Someone said he plays like boss character and I agree with that. Like a cooler version of True Ogre.

They’ll nerf him for sure. But Bamco never kills top tier characters - they do more harm to mid/lower tiers for whatever fukking reason - so he’ll probably always be really obnoxious and make me question why I play Miguel when Leroy exists.
He's very punishable.

There's no problem

Unless you get hit .....

He's very safe on block. Can pressure like Hwoarang without needing to memorize a ton of strings.

Sidestepping is the way to deal with him best. But if you play a character that can step then idk what you really do.

Sidestep might get you hemmed up as well. He's got a trackable kick that launches on counter hit.

:russ:

He should be more execution heavy, his parry is the best in the game which leads to 80-90 damage. One combo and you're at the wall.

He's definitely a boss character, those 50 years of training really shows itself in matches.

Leroy isn’t overpowered but he is definitely top tier. The only thing that might need to be toned down is how easy his parry is

Oh yeah, forgot about that 17 frame safe mid homing move. His hellsweep also tracks to both sides. Better 50/50 than Kazuya and better keepout than Bryan. Making him more linear would be a good place to start for nerfs.

It takes so much to beat Leroy.

One counter hit ruins the whole match.

I hate playing him.
