SOHH ICEY MONOPOLY
Yo, I just started watching and had to pause it mid vid.

Watching this young boys reaction to the nose bone line 20 years later, and seeing him have the exact same reaction we all had back then was so ill. :banderas:

This is what I love about hip hop music and culture, and why I'm always trying to bridge the gap between old and young heads.

We gotta respect and preserve our culture or it'll be taken from us like all the rest of them.

Spreading it to the youth in a way that doesn't make them feel like they're being attacked is the only way we'll keep this shyt going..

Ima start putting my lil nikkas on asap

Drake, Cole, Wale, Curren$y, Wiz, Meek, Ross, Ye, Jay, Nicki, etc etc. Main difference is the trap production evolved. And the Drill scene helped that alot.
Compare Drake "Headlines" from 2011 to "God's Plan" in 2018, he on on some completely different shyt breh. Compare Kendrick Lamar "HiiPower" from 2011 to "Humble" in 2018, he doing that aye yeah shyt, these nikkas out here using the Playboi Carti ad libs. They have to adjust. Compare them Rick Ross trap beats like B.M.F. and MC Hammer to the shyt that rappers is rapping over now, it sound super dated. Kanye been on some different shyt since he linked up with Travis Scott, Yeezus and Pablo a complete departure from his style. Future completely reinvented himself and ramped up musically from when he first came out back then.

Nobody in 2011 sound like Thug, Lil Baby, A-Boogie, Jay Critch, Lil Uzi, XXXtentacion, Migos, NBA YoungBoy, Kodak, 21 Savage, Travis Scott, etc. this the shyt young nikkas bump now. A lot of the acts you listed is old news, Cardi B hotter than Nicki now, Wale ain't even signed no more last album flopped crazy.

Me and your brother the same age I’m a old soul so I like old shyt but I also like the new shyt too I disagree with him. Based off what I was listening to back then we on some different shyt now. And I wasn't just talking about the sound of the music the aesthetic, the visuals, the way music is digested shyt different.

he doesn't knoe how to properly search since all new music is just curses.. old songs used to record a second version changing the words

I don’t know why the censoring has gotten so lazy for awhile now. Words used to get changed up or seamlessly censored, but for a long time doing a terrible job at editing newer songs, and over-censoring older songs. Saw Jeezy’s “And Then What” on BET Jams a couple nights ago, and they censored “dough”, “cheese”, and “yams” :mjlol::hhh:

Come on man, most of those dudes are garbage. It’s a good thing no one in 2011 sounded like them
