Naruto went off the rails but let's not act like that's the rule and not the exception.

Manga actually has linear progression. You get a start and end point with the same writer and artist. You don't get gimmicks like costume changes, changing a character's gender or race, bullshyt crossovers that are nothing more than an attemp to make you buy every issue of every book to keep up with the story, and other nonsense.

I was going through the Black Panther thread and people were complaining about Coates portrayal of the character. Then you have people saying they like Priest's version or someone else's. That doesn't happen with manga. There's no Clone Spiderman fukkery.

Once manga started getting fan subbed I threw Marvel in the bushes. I bailed during the Onslaught story.
