too bad it’s just that rhetoric…Times like this Trump’s America First rhetoric maybe justified. There is no way AT&T should be employing that hard in India unless they have Indian assets.

I'm curious to hear that. I put in about 10 applications about 3 weeks ago. One replied three days later with some follow up questions and then stated that once the posting date is over they'll narrow down the candidates and then get back to me. That's the only one I've heard anything back from. For those in the job market, how long is it taking to hear back from jobs you have applied to. I have made a lot of applications, I haven't heard back yet.
Bro, they don't give a fukk. My old team is sufferingOutsourced model
These companies maybe playing wit fire, Laying off highly skilled people.
Especially when most systems aren’t nearly that robust.
That's what it used to be likeThe craziest part is one of the first things you learn in business courses is the fukking cost of doing business.
Some costs you simply HAVE TO absorb.
There's no way around it.

I thought about going into medicine but I would have to do damn near everything over, which it’s possible but I don’t know where I would even find the money to do thatWe gon' cut jobs just not in india
they're too important
Yeah, I might have to stay in the public sector or in things adjacent to the public sector
because cutting all of the jobs stateside to ship em off to india is feeling like the first wave of sending
manufacturing off to Japan/Korea/China/Indonesia.
Either that or throw all of this education and experience in the garbage and go into medicine.![]()
