Funny you say that, almost all the 8 hour calls I have been on have been related to some type of major incident. Majority of the 1-2 hours calls I've been on have been unnecessary. It's gotten to the point I don't even jump on the calls unless my CISO says he needs me on it. I just tell people to ping me on teams if something is needed.Y'all been a part of 8 hours calls? I’m making 30k less here than my last job 
These ones are [supposed to be] requirements gathering and figuring out implementation and architecture. It's actually discussions back and forth about what we need to discuss. If the architecture work wasn't being forced on me and the other lead developers then I wouldn't even bother.

Yep that's how my 1-2 hours calls usually go. That or are bunch of finger pointing/arguing and absolutely nothing productive
