Yep that's how my 1-2 hours calls usually go. That or are bunch of finger pointing/arguing and absolutely nothing productive:francis:
Yup we'll have these long discussions with everyone checked out barely listening. Then we'll try and assign work out and it turns into a battle of everyone saying how it's not their team's responsibility.

Rona Wang graduated from M.I.T with a degree in Math and another in CS. I'm guessing her friend she's talking about at least did CS at that school.

I have almost zero doubt shyt is "next man up" at that company. They fire somebody then that person they're paying $300k to for sitting around will have their chance to shine.

Only downside is, that person all of a sudden who gets called up has an increase in responsibility at their "chill" job may not be so receptive to the increased workload and will look to work elsewhere.

Lie about popularly used technologies, don't lie about credentials :skip:
So many of the online influencers say to lie about education.

And unfortunately people follow it. :pachaha:
I can't speak for other companies but where I work they verify education every single time.
HR will just casually reach out and ask for Transcripts/the degree itself.

They don't play :pachaha:

With job referrals, do you all hit up people you haven’t spoken to in years? Or people you hardly spoke to even when you did work at the same company as them?
This is what I wonder when people claim to have a good network.
What % of those people do you actually regularly speak to?
A couple years ago I contacted a dude I used to work with like a decade ago because I had a Google interview coming up and he was PM for google assistant
He said I could use him for the reference and I ain't talk to him since :dead:

I put in an application with this tech company today but on the operations/services side.

The company is very diversity centered. I really hope I get an interview. The money is stupid.
They need to keep lowering interest rates. Then maybe employment will increase. I spoke to 2 recruiters this month. Neither of them had any stable job prospects. Just wanted to waste my time by pretending to have open job reqs.
