If Philbin doesn't fukk it up he will.

But entering the season, one of my biggest worry is actually the coaching staff. Especially offensively
:rudy: Lamar Miller hasnt done shyt in this league. YOu are probably a typical college football fan who has high hopes because you liked him in college. This is the pros, breh.

Look, Philbin has worked wonders with the crap Ireland has given him so far. Some of you clones hate the guy because he's extremely picky or because he let go of Chad but I have no problem with what he's done with the little he's got thus far. It is beyond me why Ireland still has a job to begin with but Philbin has done his part. He's not Excellent but he's a damn good coach

how are going to be worse when we improved in every single position?

RB is not proven yet, so that could be viewed as a downgrade for now. but where else did we get worse? LB/WR is miles better, corner is better DL should be great. i dont get it

I like Philbin. I think unless we absolutely shyt the bed, he should remain, even if Ireland goes. Coyle too. Sherman is okay, but his play selections at times is absolutely retarded.

:whoa:

Lamar Miller has shown flashes of being a very good back in this league. I don't watch college football, but the consensus is his skill set translates VERY well to the pros and I have no worries at all about his performances. Give him 20+ carries a game and watch him go to work. If you couldn't see his potential during the small flashes he had this preseason, then you just dumb.

I'm very curious though what those wonders are that Philbin has worked exactly ?

Can you point me to anything that supports "he's a damn good coach" ?

I'm not hating, but I just dislike his persona and the way he deals with the media. Damn near impossible for us fans to get any insights since his answers in interviews are always so fukking bland and programmed. "I won't comment, just looking forward and preparing for the next game" type bullshyt.

Dude takes himself too seriously. I don't give a fukk if Ireland is pressuring you to play Daniel Thomas because he drafted him in the 2nd round, it should've been obvious from the get go that bum doesn't have near the talent Miller has. I don't know if he's doing that to motivate the kid but that whole thing about the battle being neck and neck is such bullshyt.

If they start splitting carries come week 1 I'll be mad as fukk.

Breh,

I ve been a Dolphins fan since i can remember. Weve had many running backs "show flashes"
  • Kareem Abdul Jabbar showed Flashes
  • Cecil Collins showed flashes (well he had other issues too)
  • Daniel Thomas showed Flashes
  • J.J. Johnson showed flashes
  • John Avery showed flashed
Only Lamar Smith, Ricky Williams and Ronnie Brown (to some degree) really had success

Ive learned my lesson and not pinnng my hopes on good preseasons and general consensus. Bottom line is UNTIL THEY GET IT DONE and on a consistant basis I'm not giving a player no props or aint necessarily blaming no coaches for your shortcomings. Like I said before many people are predicting Miller will have a huge year.

PLEASE UNDERSTAND, as a Dolphins fan I HOPE I AM WRONG and he blows up but I dont necessarily see what those people see thus far. :manny:

My expectations for last year was damn near 3 and 13. He won a lot more than I expected wth the shytty talent Ireland had put together.

There you go

So you dislike the guy because he doesnt make you feel warm and fuzzy inside so you let that affect your opinion of his job performance.

So tell me how does Belichik make you feel? How did Jimmy Johnson make you feel?

Jimmy Johnson came to town with all the hype and made us all feel nice during press conferences and then CRIED and i mean CRIED WITH TEARS IN HIS fukkING EYES AFTER EVERY LOSS. EVERY-FUKKIN'-LOSS.

scratch that, he retired lol

only 1 surprise cut is McNutt, opted to go with 5 safeties and 5 WR's instead of the usual 6 and 4. Thigpen doesnt play much there either, hes almost all KR. if one of the top 3 go down we are in trouble
