So, they look at this as Tariq's event. So, if they're paying $65 to see Tariq and the event is janky, then that could negatively affect Tariq's brand.

The reality is, no one thinks like this.. I mean no one... Its like yall think negroes or so dumb that they don't know that a promoter is responsible for the venue as opposed to the featured attraction....

I've seen speakers and artists perform in all types of places, and no one blamed any mishaps with the venue on the guests they paid to see....

Nah Ive saw people do that all the time for artist and other entertainers. They didn't say so and so promotions were janky they said that more known persons shyt was janky/fukked etc. Gotta agree with @mcdivit85 on this even though you personally and your circle might not do it. Tariq is a brand in this circle. He not a Nike type known brand but he big enough in this circle so saying he isn't a brand is incorrect.

I've seen and heard plenty of end consumers blame and/ or associate performers/speakers for uncomfortable venues. And again, that was a Tariq Nasheed event as far as the people were concerned. Yes, they may know that promoter is responsible for the venue. However, Tariq is associated with their experience in said venue since they came to see him.

That could potentially have an impact on the perception of the quality of his events going forward.

Tariq is the attraction..... and why do you think black people don't know what a promoter is..... This Is a lecture, not a concert..... His 2 gripes were personal gripes...

Lou being tardy which was unprofessional..... and the size of his dressing room..... he personally thought the venue could've been better, but that's his "personal" opinion.......

Yes, they may know that promoter is responsible for the venue. However, Tariq is associated with their experience in said venue since they came to see him.

Again.. How. How could Tariq's gripes in Detroit effect his upcoming event in St. Louis.... your logic is that Tariq said the venue was too small in Detroit, so a brother in St. Louis is not going to buy a ticket because of what happened in Detroit?
