where is the wealth and resources to community build in detroit? where are the jobs and industries to breathe life into the area? they're struggling to pay utilities, who are you trying to fool?

Detroit has poor areas like every major city, clown.
But it has a high number of wealthy blacks and overall the area isn't broke as the media would have you think.... a simple Wikipedia search will tell you where it stands in multiple industries for the nation.
And % wise it's a black city. But most things aren't black owned, not even the politicians.
The population is under educated, because most blacks flock to DC Texas atl NY times etc and say fukk the city. So there are maddd jobs but most blacks arent qualified for high level tech and science jobs (top 3 area for tech jobs and science research, fyi)..... the older blacks are still lost and are stuck in a civil right mentality.
But there is a reason why every major Corp and even the Chinese are buying the area right now.......
Black people do have resources and power but only a few are taking advantage of it. You are confusing ignorance with ability .

The woman was just saying that celebrities don't give a fukk and have more means to act quicker then trying to get with a bunch of people together.
yea, im not trying to hold individual celebs accountable for the conditions of black neighborhoods. im just looking at the overall picture.
i just dont understand why they wont get together with 50 other multi-millionaires and create industries and products for blacks to consume. say oprah, mayweather, jay, diddy, dre, and byron allen, bob johnson, etc all came together and said we're going to make our own black pepsi, black doritos, black candy bars, black shampoo, black soap, black toothpaste, black everything. they would already get damn near 100% of our support off top. i'm sure most of us would prefer to buy a black owned version of a product thats being manufactured and produced by other blacks over continuously making cacs wealthier.

Both Deion Sanders and Jalen Rose have invested millions in charter schools in the inner city. And instead of nikkas helping by donating to these schools(Something working class CAC do, but working class nikkas don't do) or invest time by mentoring these kids. Naw, nikkas are too busy laughing at these black celeb brothas when CAC media are trying to shut down these schools.
Being from Dallas. I saw how Deion Sanders school positively effect the Black community in Dallas. But it's funny how Deion had a hard time to found donation from the Black Community.
But it's funny that Floyd Mayweather was one the people that did donate to Prime Prep tho.
Same thing with MC Hammer in Oakland. It was all good when MC Hammer was giving many nikkas in Oakland jobs in the crew to do nothing. But these same nikkas laughed at MC Hammer when he went broke.
