The more you make

the more they take

Especially if you’re black

Yet Jeff Bezos paid zero taxes in 2017
there are ways to reduce your tax bill on every single level. It's why I don't take anybody who cries about taxes seriously. If you wanna pay less you absolutely can. It may not be easy. Easy would be to just sit back and pay it.

This tells how empty the words are of some these social activist type actors and actresses. We've see several times where big names are able to secure bigger pay days for their friends in hollywood. Jackie Chan just spoke on Bruce Lee doing that for him. Cate Blanchett has spoken out on pay discrimination too, but didn't do shyt for Taraji. she gets 10 to 15 million a picture though.

if you wan a consistent and steady bag landing a principal cast role on a tv show is the way to go but its a lot of work if you not young. Long hours and a lot of your year gonna be locked up shooting. She was great in PoI but her leaving was a great story arc.
Yup

If an actor isn’t a SUPER A lister then TV is gonna be better than movies as far as consistent good money.

Like you said though, TV burns a lot of actors out tho. That schedule aint no joke.

Yeah they lowballed her
150k and Brad took home his usual 20 mil?

Brutal

I wonder how much she was pulling from Person Of Interest?
Seemed like a nice check
I can see why she took the money to do Proud Mary, that script was fkn garbage but I bet it paid well and didn’t stain her career too bad.

You can blame the government for that as they create the loopholes that allow the rich and wealthy to dodge taxes. It’s why it’s laughable that people think that the rich will ever pay their fair share.

No, you can blame the voters who continue to vote for corrupt corporate freindly politicians that
have been bought and paid for by coporations (which is ove r90 percent of congress btw). At some point we have to start blaming dumb fukk voters

Getting rid of politicians accomplishes nothing if you aren’t dealing with the root of the problem in lobbyist and big businesses influencing Congress and their decisions.

It’s amazing that people still don’t realize that :mjlol:

Manchin and Cruz are literally just doing the bidding of the people who like their pocket. The next person who replaces them regardless of party gotta answer to same said people as well.

You’re also bugging if you think that those socialists hands are completely clean as well.

How you gonna ROFL with a hollow back?
A few years ago, Taraji said that "PERSON OF INTEREST" (CBS TV series) was the most money she had consistently made in Hollywood. However, she was miserable on set and decided to leave after a few years on the series. By that point, she probably had a good savings and more opportunities.

It was never revealed, but I think her salary per episode was around $75,000.
Jim Ceveziel(sp?) is a certified Q/racist/bigot piece of fukking shyt, she deserved a million an ep to even deal with that fukkface. He hated the fact that he had to share screen time with her.

To get rid of the root problems you need legislative bills to be passed which you cannot do unless you have the right kind of politicians in power.

tell us which progressives are beholden to corporate interests and lobbying with evidence

It’s not what you think you’re worth or should make, but more so what you can negotiate. That’s how Hollywood works.

Your average actor/actress isn’t even making that type of bread per movie even with a major budget. People are going to really disappointed when they find out their favorite celebrity isn’t as rich as they initially thought.

successful TV series is where the real money is

There's no such thing as clean hands in politics as you have to play the game to get to where you want to go. These Progressives aren't the first of their kind in Congress as it's been many before that came into politics with sincere intentions. Unfortunately, you learn really quick that big money and corporations influence Congress and their decisions. If you don't want to play the game then someone else will.

Look at all the perks and benefits that come to working in Congress and you'll see that those Progressives benefit from them just as much as the people they complain about.

Some of those numbers are outdated as two characters in particular on that list are OG's and make wayyyy more than $125,000 an episode. There's also exceptions on that list as a few of those on the list were high paid because they leverage as they won or were considered for Emmy's based on their performance on the show.
