Possibly but he'll still have the same people to answer to. Shareholders and board members and companies. While the company isn't as popular as it was 20 years ago but they've got a lot more corporate ties and people to answer to and that won't change.

This company has been doing self-sabotage for years, I just don't get it. There is no other job force/career field where people actively sabotage themselves and willingly throw money away like the WWE. Instead of rewarding people for getting over and aiding them in sustaining it, they punish and pull the rug out from under them. Makes no sense.
Vince thinks the fans are stupid and don't know what they want. That's the disconnect.

I really want to get invested again, but they have to sabotage everything that gets over and are already showing signs of sabotaging smackdown the way they did the last brand split. Has there been a single point in the last 17 years where they didn't sabotage someone who got over and actually capitalized on it the way any capable booker would have? Why do I have to keep posting this following text and feel like it's just as relevant now if not more?

Jericho and Owens feud being dropped to the first hour of wrestlemania when it should've been for the ugly red belt near the end of the night.
I think by default he'd be better simply because he's not as bent on control as Vince is. He goes out of his way to harms his wrestlers health and finances so they have to rely on him entirely. He operates like a carny and a pimp rolled into one. Having an actual wrestler in charge couldn't be worse. Even Vince Russo would be an improvement if he were given total control of the product so I'm pretty sure La Nariz would be ok. Vince's issue isn't pleasing the shareholders. It's his need to destroy everything he didn't create or trying to stamp his name on it and ruin it along the way.

If it does pull in lower ratings than talkingsmack, I'd be interested to read the reason why a show that's only 20-30 mins Long and relatively easy to produce gets the axe but a show which cost more is still around

Meltzer posts the stats every week. 205 Live is barely in the top 25 watched on the network. It's a flop. Talking Smack only started failing because it was moved behind 205 Live. Thing is the cruiserweight division was never gonna work like the CWC because Vince and the writers weren't behind it. RAW gives no time to the division at all. 2 minute matches. Plus Vince restricts their movesets.

205 live is the reason I stopped watching talking smack.
How do they expect me to stay up until 4 am to watch any show?
205 live should have either been on a different day or thy should have put that 3rd hour of raw to use.
That was by far the dumbest decision they ever made. Wtf couldn't that garbage ass show been a lead in or follow up to nxt? Like seriously what did they hope to accomplish by putting a show about Raw wrestlers on live after smack down. They need to get some new people in to handle the programming on the network, and they need to learn for Netflix that ratings don't matter on demand.
Does Raw have their post show? Raw Talk, right? If they still do, we riot.
They always debuet whatever new episodes for their original programming after 3 hours of raw. You can't tell me people were watching any of that shyt live after raw. shyt I want to watch that stuff but after raw I can't watch anymore wrestling.
