Another Reason Why Vince McMahon Ended Talking Smack, New WWE Arabic Show Talks Top Stories (Videos) – Wrestlezone

Another Reason Vince McMahon Ended Talking Smack
It was reported last week by Sports Illustrated’s Justin Barrasso that Talking Smack was removed from the regular WWE Network schedule at the behest of Vince McMahon who felt the unscripted nature of the show was not good for the WWE.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is now also reporting that Vince did not inherently dislike Talking Smack because he did not watch it. They go on to note that Vince would receive a written report about what happened on the show every Wednesday morning.

One segment they say Vince was reportedly unhappy with was The New Day appearing on the series right after Kofi Kingston got cleared on the May 23, 2017 episode. This ended up being their Tuesday night debut and Vince felt their first appearance on Tuesday should have been on SmackDown.

:hhh: :scust: :gucci: :beli:

I don't even know what to say.
Meltzer doesn't have any credibility on this story. He needs to shut up.

He's not wrong, but to cancel the whole show over that? :why:

Considering the rigidly scripted nature of modern WWE, the idea of a show that is unscripted and almost always ended up with multiple people breaking kayfabe and nearly everyone bytching about/making fun of booking and trying to shoot their own angles, and a host who regularly complained about his contract, bosses, and health concerns, I buy that Vince would think it's not good for WWE.

Then you add in the additional costs to air it live and all that. :yeshrug:It was fun while it lasted, but nothing really ever came out of it it on TV besides Miz vs Bryan, which could have no pay off anyway. Nerds acting like it's some brutal blow to SD and an insane move to cut it are mark ass marks at this point.

You're off. Alexa Bliss and Miz got back on track via the show..it was big because the Miz/Bryan reaction was Attitude Era the following week.

Miz yes, because it's the only thing from the show that made it to TV. Nothing Alexa did or said on TS informed her television character, and she often appeared to be a nice girl happy to have a job in wrestling as opposed to the ultra c*nt on TV she played.

That's how those cheers started though..from the genuine reaction.

Alexa Bliss..thats when her pops got noticeable.

:yeshrug: I don't remember her getting big pops outside of her Raw debut and that segment after she won the title on the next Raw, but I don't watch weeklies anymore. She seems to get heel heat on PPVs.
