Remember when they had a Raw pre AND post show.. And a Smackdown preshow.

All they do is take stuff away and then beg for subs

Yeah its this weird thing they do where they don't cultivate what they have but want you to pay them money for a library basically. And the library is great, no way I can front on that, but actually keep some original content. Something like Talking Smack or pre shows and post shows should be mandatory and it shouldn't matter if they don't hit certain thresholds for numbers. They help storylines and they allow for freedom not given on the show

:hhh:They might as well get rid of Smackdown all together and make Raw into 5 hours. fukk it, go full retard. Smh I swear this company:mindblown:

Yet, Raw's patronizing "lolz fukk the fans" after show is still on the air despite the amount of damns it receives on a regular basis.

at the same time people complain about over saturation and too much content

let's be honest, who was watching a pre show, RAW and a post show? WWE had to cut bait

While this is true, they are cutting shows that actually make sense. Raw and Smackdown are suppose to have kickoffs and after shows on a level of how serious both shows are. Why get rid of a show that feels like a piece of a foundation vs not getting rid of a show that's wild dead weight (205 Live)? Hell, the entire organization is a bloated mess that needs to be gutted. Why hire all of these wrestlers when it's only hurting the company as time progress?

People may not watch EVERY week, but it comes/goes in waves.

What's your excuse for them cutting the JBL interview show, or the podcasts, or not having Edge/Christian season 2, or the Corey Graves show, or the Renee Young show?

Every subscriber won't watch everything, but you have to let the content build, especially if it cost basically nothing to film. They have no problem showing Total Divas and Bellas show. And ur not gonna tell me WWE fans are really watching those like that.

Honestly, the whole "tv show" aspect of the Network is going to be their downfall. Let's face it, wrestling fans want five simple things from the WWE Network:

  • Full library of the promotions that the WWE bought including WWE material
  • Shoot interviews
  • Documentaries
  • Additional WRESTLING content
  • Retro and modern day wrestling commercials
Thats all folks want. I remember when I seen the trailer to the WWE Network and it blew my damn mind. 9.99 for pure uncut wrestling, it's perfect :banderas:. Then reality hit, the Network had a long hiatus leading into 2014 where it launched. However, they wanted to charge 9.99 on a 6 month contract:camby:. Most of the content was there but the important shyt (Nitro, some ECW episodes, and etc) wasn't there. Then the flood of reality tv bullshyt that made me realize that I wasted 9.99 in the first place:rudy:. Factor in the WORST customer service experience I have ever had with anything in my natural life, it's safe to say that the WWE Network was revolutionary, but extremely flawed. Hell, the company bleeds money on a weekly basis and it's showing with the little by little gutting of some of it's features and shows (Pyro and Talking Smack). It's going to get worse folks and there's no stopping the freefall.

To hoard talent so nobody else can have them :manny: something they've knocked WCW for doing in the past, yet here they are signing anyone and everyone basically. Speaking of that actually, @TheGreatShowtime when are we getting that WWE is copying WCW thread I think you might've mentioned before? The streets need new content :feedme:

From Sports Illustrated:

Contrary to reports, Talking Smack was not canceled due to a lack of viewers.

The WWE Network show, popular among fans for its organic nature, was canceled by Vince McMahon.

McMahon, whose appearances at weekly WWE television shows is becoming increasingly irregular, was at TVs this past week. Sources close to the situation reported that McMahon was unhappy with the show and strongly believed it did not serve the company’s best interests.
