Yes it did, your companions turn into crystals and once the timer runs out or someone collects them they are gone for good
that's not really permadeath (at least I never saw it like that, since you got time to revive them)...yeah you right if you don't they gone forever but thought you were talking like fire emblem permadeath

The PSP version was different.
this game made me put Ragnarok on ice. its such a timeless classic that I love so much, number 2 on my all time SRPG list behind FF Tactics. well done remaster. please support so we can get more of these games.

I started it up today just to see how it looked before i played GoWR and i felt my energy being drawn to play more so i jsut forced myself to shut it off.
Ragnarok> tactics ogre > midnight suns/callisto > crisis core
What a nice way to end the year

The Knight class is boring af but low key one of the best for Denam.

Man, i could have swore that was one of the big features they added to this and why i was hype. I hate this aspect of the game
