he was diabolical and this should have happend a while ago.
Maybe imaginary shadowy figures in trench coats, moving each and every one of us like chess pieces, is the only way they can wrap their head around humans making bad decisions at the macro level, and how cheap life really can be.
That or some weird ass power fantasy that will never be realized. They’ve never been in places like this, lived and experienced with people in these situations, and they never will. I just don’t take them as seriously as they take themselves.
And anybody making the CIA some big bad boogeyman has obviously never been within viewing distance of CIA or State department employees lol. The thought of them working out some detailed grande scheme is laughable, it’s 99% fat dudes who hate their jobs, hide liquor in their desks, and get irate when you ask them to lift the tiniest of fingers lol. The 1% is the skinny employees standing around with their arms folded, wearing mismatched camo or jeans, pointlessly wearing sunglasses, begging for nearby armed branches to give them human intel, and silently praying that the guy they handed a suitcase with $1,700 in it doesn’t run off lol. They sweat when you ask them to step out and meet locals. I’ve seen veterinarians more excited to leave the wire lol
