No only Embers, the beast power was from the well but that is magical in nature so no magic means no magic from well.

Yeah but originally it took some time before the mechanic dudes turned off the magic.That is why I said "for a quick moment". I might have to rewatch but Alice said after he killed the beast he used the power from the well to kill Ember didn't he?

I think when Quentin came back without his shade, he killed the Beast, then killed Ember and stole his powers. Killing Ember prompted the mechanics to turn off magic but, Quentin had Ember's powers so he was exempt.

Alright I rewatched and she never said he had the power from the well she just said "he found a way to kill the beast then Ember" and then she said he still had the power after magic got turned off so it made it seem like he also had the beasts's source but idk

The Beast wasn't really that strong in the books. You just had to go down to levels to beat him

Alice was just a student and she beat him after turning into a Niffin

I'm confident Julia could beat him right now with her new powers

If Quentin came back crazy, he would have a shot at it
