Concept is good for about the first 5 episodes then that s*** turned super dookie

I'm sad to say I watched the whole season just wanted to find out how this p.o.s ended

imma have too watch the rest and see what happened im marathon it right now

its not terrible its watchable but the quality takes a sharp decline after the first main arch ends. the second arc is a mess. there's not of the tension and danger of the first and the main plot point is basically a pink elephant in the room that doesn't get addressed until the very end.

Sword Art Online is an like Xam'd if you've ever seen that or the anime Romeo and Juliet.all those anime start out really good and about half way through they lose their footing and never recover. maybe areal world comparison is the show Prison Break.

what's sad about it is the novels continue past where the anime ends into different arcs. that writer can come up with decent concepts Accel World is proof of that he just seems to run out of steam pretty quick.

really tho, the anime ending with the Fairy Dance arc was the worst thing that could have happened.

the next two, Phantom Bullet(GGO) and Project Alicization are WAYYYYYYY better than Fairy Dance. as long as they dont drop the ball on the shoot outs when they animate them, season 2 has potential. They better not screw up that Bullet of Bullets tournament

but yeah, he kinda gets back into SAO mode with Project Alicization...with a twist.

like i said its like Prison Break. the show was solid and then they broke out of prison and it came to a point of what next? go back to prison and break out again. as some point a show outlives its original concept and should probably end instead of repeating different variations of the concept AFO was really testing my suspension of disbelief.the fact that he'd go into more games after that shatters it. i mean this is a guy who was trapped for like a couple years in SAO and risked death to get out.

ok i just finished it and wasnt ass bad at it seems but i see where u coming from bout that danger and tension it didnt have it. the last arc did seemed rushed though and the ending had me like

I actually enjoyed it a lot. One of the things I didn't like is the stuff with his sister/cousin. They should have left out. It made the story weird at the end.

once they took away the "if you die in the game, you die in real life" factor... it was fukkin pointless

It could of been so good if it was longer than 25 episodes.. they were skipping floors.. ..i wouldn't mind if they showed all the floors and then a boss fight.
