I grab my Palace gear from Labor Skateboard shop.

the funny thing is the clothes sell out...but the boards stay there untounched.

Dude is the reason I have to wait two.hours in line at supreme just to grab a pack of spitfire wheels. Amongst numerous asian kids obviously looking to resell...actaully ai take that back. I saw one asian kid rocking that "by any means necessary" NORTH FACE jacket and i was legir jealous.

I don't think I even saw a white black or soanish face in line when they did the Undercover collab...its was like 95% japanese.

And as far as bape, since nigo left most of the designs have been trash but they have a few fire pieces here and there. The quality has taken a nose dive outside of the 1k+ goretex jackets.

I fukk with human made now, quality craftsmanship and subtle.

Both Supreme and Bape have had some absolutely fire collaborations.
Supreme is easier to fit in with business casual than Bape though.

The store on lafayette has been there for 22 years.

Even their weakest offerings still sell out.

Dare.I say it with the new crowd they have gathered Supreme barely represents skateboarding anymore. Out of all the skate companies they are YSL/LV status. Its not changing anytime soon as long as kids feel the need to buy "cool".

Skateboarding is only increasing in popularity. I see more people skateboarding everyday. I see more girls skateboarding now. It's the "coolest" non-sport there is.

But yeah...supreme back then was just another skateshop. Now? Its become a headache and debacle just to go and look around cause of lines.

It will only make the underground stronger imo.

Back.when it was made.in Japan? yes that price could ne justified...but considering BAPE after the I.T. team bought it its now made in china (like everyone else), nah couldn't even.

Bathing ape, like fuct, supreme, stussy, x-large will always be those tried and true heritage streetwear brands. Without them alot of today's brands wouldn't exist.
