Lil Bape the PostGod
Can’t talk to broke boys
Also have to attribute the "Tumblr"/nostalgia crowd for the resurrection and influence of some of this brands.
But Supreme( and other brands) can never truly replicate that era between 02-early to late 10
Once you cross that threshold of commercial it's hard to go back to the underground vibe.
Plus a lot of that crowd now has families, etc.. So it's hard trying to justify either wearing hella expensive pieces or tees that will bring you attention.
The street wear market got really oversatuated but I think this high end, athletic leisure gear is the next bubble burst.
Brands like Kith, Stampd, Wings and Horns, Reigning Champ have kinda cornered this but Adidas and Puma are definitely gaining traction until the next trend.
If you do start back into Bape, size up like crazy.
Japanese and other Asian brands are very much vanity sizes and are unforgiving to the big, broad guys outchea..
the new sizing of bape is crazy small
kith has turned into a joke...theres some special event there like every day which causes excess crowds
they've cornered the market though...now they have the nike/kith shop...and they had some Adidas kith release launch event right next door....they literally are getting all the brands to go solely to them...and I'm pretty sure across the street in kith womens is puma marketing all over the window and displays
