I actually met Alex Olson at Labor skate shop last year. He was talking about it. this was around the time thaatthey were doing the phone sex ad boards.
Bianca Chandon is now all cut and sew and really not in skateshops anymore...I see his strategy and can respect that.
That dude rips hard though. He was doing a warm up at L.E.S. coleman that looked like a full fukking x games run...lol.

I'm trying tl bring back that DGK hood nikka style of skateboarding. I dont mess with that white t-•shirt, tiny white pants, and white vans hipster crap. Thats why I have ro laugh when people call me a "hipster".
hipster skaters only care about how much they cuffed their pants legs,.and not really be about skatings.
i'm.old school. When I hit up the park Im ususally wearings plain white t, levis,.°and.vans (pumas or adidas too) I let.my skating do the talking. Im.happy I haven't fallen for any of these "trends"
and i stay smoking these white boys here on the board until they give up. These cats in they 20s.and out of breath. I'll be 33 next year and I haven't been remotely tired from skateboarding.

I was just out skateboarding rock my thrasher skate and die snapback, a custom long sleeve t-shirt I made for the fall 15-16 collection, a pair of levis raw denim 501s, and a paie of puma.suedes.will.a.white.midsole.
I look hella swag and people dig it.
all i care is that I look good for myself.
Granted there are some pieces in my collection I.don wear anymore. anything with the word "fukk" on it and anything that has female nudity on.it

Human made is so pricey though. I.jnderstand Nigo's price.point for quality and craftsman ship...but I.was hoping for more from him..Rehashing late 20th Americana is redunant.If you over 21 and wearing supreme or streetwear you lost. Corny hypebeast ruined that brand after 2011.
And as far as bape, since nigo left most of the designs have been trash but they have a few fire pieces here and there. The quality has taken a nose dive outside of the 1k+ goretex jackets.
I fukk with human made now, quality craftsmanship and subtle.

supreme is the new polo ralph lauren for young nikkas.
just like nikkas were super heavy into polo in the 80's and 90's. that's what supreme is for young dudes in the 2000's and 2010's.
shyt, you still have dudes 40+ years old still rockin polo. you can pull of supreme in your 30's, if you know how to wear it right. like @Sagat said, no pieces with profanity or sexually explicit images, or box logos everywhere. just the subtle stuff with little to no branding.

When I discovered supreme.back.in.1998. it was a skatehsop. It still is a.skateshop. It just so happens the clothes more alot faster than the boards jut like.thenskate style but can't skate. so thats their way to buy into cool.
Once you.hit yourn30 you realize you're cool no matter what. Alll that fashion shyt don't mean nothing if can't ollie up a curb. I get more people asking me about my custom gear all the time cause they see it and.want it immediately.

Supreme makes some nice.pieces.especially im.the sut and.sew.category. the problem.is.the.price.range.is.out of reach for your average preme shopper who.just buys a.five panel and.a.t-shirt.
Like I.dont think people.understand...Ive see rich old white guys wqlk.in their and buy polos and slacks. I see young black.kids.buying vans.and.maybe aa hoodie. I.swee 2p something yups buying things like gym bags there. And Supreme offers that (something I feel former creative director.Brendan.Babenzien offers more of with NOAH...but thats like a.ten times more.expsenive version of supreme but with no.skateboards.
