Dudes, want to blame Obama/Hillary/RBG for this happening. Yet, don't want to blame Democratic voters for not showing up for the 2010 & 2014 midterms and not showing up in certain key states in 2016 :snoop:
She kinda made a good point on if she stepped down Republicans wouldn't have replaced her. I honestly believe that in hindsight :francis:

Oh why didn't they show up? You got to earn people's vote, pols are not entitled to it.
They showed up in 2008 & 2012 though. Why not 2010 & 2014? Oh yeah because Democratic voters don't usually care about elections outside of presidential ones unless something bad happens (Bush 43 and then Trump). :beli:

I would say it’s getting old but they keep making it new again and again and again. Rather then just man up they got an excuse for everything like a child that broke the living room lamp.

it’s a tired exercise going back and forth so I leave that task for other nikkas who don’t mind expending energy on the keystrokes and got time

Why does everybody want the Democrats to just go biblical? Are we not supposed to have any voice of reason in leadership? This country is thirsting for any normalcy right now. That shyt is like water in the desert.

This is why Democrats are always getting treated like a $2 hoe:gucci:

All that “we go high when they go low” is horseshyt

Obama is good at getting elected, I will give him that. The rest of these losers aren't. Look @ Hillary in 2016, where were they during that presidential election? You just said they show up for presidential elections. I guess not all the time. :francis:

Republicans are winning the Senate, presidency, SC and governorships and state houses and their only viable competition is blameless in losing to them? Yeah, that sounds right. :beli:

:what:

So now RBG refusing to retire is the fault of the voters??

I understand some of you posters are genetically engineered to tow the party line and defend their every move at every turn lest you turn to stone, but at least have the decency to not scrape the bottom of the barrell with your cheerleading.

Everybody and their mom's knew blaming the left was coming. It's written in your manuals and taught to you during orientation and training. That was expected.

But I gotta admit, I didn't see the "blame the electorate for not forcing a person holding an unelected position of power to relinquish said position" angle coming. :patrice:

That was a new one.

Blame goes both ways. People can't blame RBG for not retiring but then not vote in 2014 or 2016 in order to either keep a Democratic Senate or Presidency. What did they think was going to happen? Also, the SC is a lifetime seat, so if she didn't want to retire, that decision was bad but it was her right. She didn't know that Obama would have been followed up by a President Trump. However, Democratic voters knew that was possibility in 2016 (including the fact that Scalia died that year and the whole Merrick Garland fiasco) and some were too lackadaisical in certain states & areas and either stayed home or voted 3rd party. Hillary stressed the importance of the Supreme Court and yet she was met with "Who cares? You can't force me to vote for you, Killary!" by some progressive voters. :manny:

If liberals are such losers then how come old man Biden is leading in all the polls? Why is he doing so well with independent voters? Why are you quoting movie characters and not real people to validate your point? How does the left going more radical not play right into Trump’s hand?

The whole idea of politics as a game of winning and losing with no foresight other than sticking it to the other side is childish, reckless, and wrong. It’s not what’s best for the country. We really need more leadership in leadership. I used to didn’t like the Obamas that much, but in 2020 I’m learning to appreciate his approach more. He was hopelessly passive, but I would rather more people like him in charge if the alternative is white nationalists running wild like the NWO.
