The CW's upcoming Superman & Lois has found the couple's Super Sons, as Jordan Elsass and Alexander Garfin join the Arrowverse series as the couple's young sons.

Deadline reports Elsass will play Jonathan, who is described as "clean-cut, modest and kind-hearted, with an aw-shucks attitude that somehow doesn’t seem dated." Garfin will portray Jordan, who is "wildly intelligent, but his mercurial temperament and social anxiety limits his interactions with people, and consequently, Jordan prefers to spend most of his free time alone, playing video games." The site also reports that Jonathan and Jordan are believed to be twins

Elsass’ Jonathan is clean-cut, modest and kind-hearted, with an aw-shucks attitude that somehow doesn’t seem dated. Garfin’s Jordan is wildly intelligent, but his mercurial temperament and social anxiety limits his interactions with people, and consequently, Jordan prefers to spend most of his free time alone, playing video games.

Written by Helbing, based on the DC characters created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, Superman & Lois revolves around superhero Superman and journalist Lois as they deal with all the stress, pressures and complexities that come with being working parents in today’s society.

Lois Lane’s pregnancy was revealed in last season’s Arrowverse crossover, Elseworlds. By the start of this season’s Crisis on Infinite Earths five-part event, the Kents were a family of three with the addition of their infant son, Jon. in Part 3 of Crisis, Lois, Clark and their baby were wiped out by the Anti-Monitor. The universe was eventually saved — and reset — with changes. They included Superman and Lois having two teenage boys in a post-Crisis world.

The development was revealed in the final Part 5 of of Crisis on Infinite Earths, which set up Superman & Lois. In it, Lois called Clark, asking him to get to Metropolis right away. “It’s the boys,” she said. Your sons.”
.
Im calling it now. One of them's gonna be gay. Probably the one with the social anxiety.

Sheabutters always take it too far

Superman & Lois Ignored Calls For Diverse Martha & Jonathan Kent, Says Writer

I was rocking with her issues with the show before this. Superman "obviously" not being the biological child of the Kents is a pretty major dynamic change imo.
I mean, it should be able to work. Nothing says the Kents have to be white. Theyre not so iconic that changing their races to anything but white would be a major departure like making Superman black.

As that story starts to pick up steam this is going to end up being Ma and Pa Kent:

Well Superman Returns introduced the idea of Supes with a kid in live action. Jump a decade and here we are.

If WB keeps messing up their live action movie version they will eventually let the reigns go enough be a non-white Pa or Ma.

I think we’ll get a non-white Lois pretty soon
