I mean, it should be able to work. Nothing says the Kents have to be white. Theyre not so iconic that changing their races to anything but white would be a major departure like making Superman black.

Pretty sure the only reason the kents not having eyebrows raised at them for not having docs to adopt clark is because they claimed he was there bio son. So I dont think it would work. Also its forced.

I read one story where they said they found Clark's ship right before a hard winter so they basically were out of contact with the rest of Smallville for months and claimed they had him then.

And in IRL non-white people without papers don’t have families that they just walk around without being bothered?

Farmers have to work. Sell and buy their product requires contact with people even in winter.

Are you arguing against your own point? Latinos work around it irl. They look related as they usually are not completely different. The purpose is to not look supsicious. Also "papers" is nebulous there is ways to get birth certificates and ssn for babies born outside of hospitals.

Afro-Latino families come in all shades. Puerto Rican, Mexicanos, and Cubans have been in America for decades. They have blended families and bloodlines

Racially ambiguous and multi-ethnic aren’t the same thing. A light skin black person and a light skin black person with parents of two different races ain’t the same thing.


Just say you want the Kents to be white. There’s no advantage to them being white in forging papers and identity of a white child.
