ppl are just mad that they keep rebooting the franchise without ever ending it. Origin story over origin story. They want to see Superman go to other planets, fight Darkside, Braniac etc.This is why most people are arguing in bad faith, "clone of Cavill". What does that mean? Of course they are going to look alike, Superman is always a tall cac with dark hair.
So they should have cast a short cac with blonde hair?
Maybe they should have made him a Mexican like Namor
They are tired of seeing reporter Superman trying to find himself and fight lex luthor and general zod on earth

Nah, there will always be young talent out there who are either up-and-comers or complete unknowns to the general audience that will have a chance to showcase themselves when the time comes.

hes still gonna be on planet earth figuring out his powers... that's why they got a young actor for the role.

Not sure that's been said. There's gonna be other heroes in it and in the same universe as a Batman on his 3rd robin. Plus he's been figuring out his powers since puberty.

yeah before the roids. They prob will put the newer dude on a decent cycle lmfao. And like I said he is 10 years on the head younger than Cavill. So if this doesn't flop a decade from now he legit could be the definitive super man post Christopher Reeves.

It’s actually smart. All the money they lost from flash, Shazam, black Adam and bout to lose from blue beetle they needed to get the great value cavill and try to offset some of that.This actor looks like Henry Cavill who looked nothing like Brandon Routh.
This is like Marvel saying “we’re gonna reboot Iron Man” but then casting Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Tony Stark while expecting everyone to forget about RDJ even though the new actor looks the same as him
