I'd go with Gustaf, aka Floki da gawd. He looks more the part. Though it's extremely hard to argue against Alex after his turn as Lukas Mattson in Succesion. That's damn near Lex already. Can't go wrong with either.

Henry looked pretty similar to him when he did Immortals, which was two years before MoS

Cavil’s Supes has to be the most overrated adaptation of a comic book character. His fans be acting like dude is on the same level. As RDJ’s Iron Man, Jackman’s Wolverine, Tobey’s Spider-Man, or Wesley’s Blade. Cavil’s Supes didn’t even act like Superman. Homie didn’t even have a personality lol. The only thing he had going for himself. Was that he looked comic book accurate. Dude had no classic lines, and one classic moment. Scratch that the only classic line he has. Is saying Martha

The time he actually resembled Superman was in that Josstice League abortion of a movie

I trust Gunn he's pretty good at casting and he's filming Superman so there's no way he isn't taking this one seriously. He's said repeatedly Superman is IMPORTANT it's SUPERMAN this whole phase is called Gods and Monsters. Superman is clearly a god in this scenario especially with Authority getting pushed shyts getting real

Last thing, one thing we're kinda overlooking, we're running out of talent to play these characters. All of these actors are trapped in playing the characters.
