I'm not downplaying the importance of looks. But cats are tryna run a "gotcha" play talking bout "s-s-see! He picked a stripper!" as if he had another choice on the show to continue bailing (black) women out of how far they take the importance of male beauty (pause) and delusions of grandeur regarding how they match that.

Understanding the new prioritization of men's looks isn't an excuse for women to keep choosing poorly, it's (supposed to be) a doorway for men to understand how to move forward, in tandem with other concepts.

Yes these were Uncs and aunties aplenty and to be a member yo have to be a Prince Hall Mason or Eastern Star of a certain rank so you could qualify to be a Shriner or Daughter of Isis and there were hundreds of people at Mid atlantic meeting and those are the people who could make it.

My point is there's far more Black People who love themselves and their culture that social media tells you.

Jay Z was rich and powerful. If he had the same personality, and same appearance, but was a bus driver, she would not have given him the time of day. She saw something in him. And the fact that he’s being compared to a camel weekly on here should tell you what he looks like.

I will never expect women to not consider a man’s appearance, knowing damn well most men aren’t pursuing women they don’t find attractive.
