I think Jay & Nas are a little better than Big lyrically but he's the better artist then both. Big could do everything they could do but Jay & Nas couldn't do everything Big could do
Jay can and has made any type of record big or Nas has made

Big got the best voice out of the 3

Jay is the best MC out of all 3

Nas is Lupe fiasco of the 90s

Artist? Can't say for Jay. That's debatable. I DONT think he's a better "artist" than Nas. Who has shown to do plenty I've never seen Biggie do in his life and is always willing to take chances with his art. Also more creative than both over the course of his career. As far as being a better rapper? U have more of an argument there.

Jay 96-99 was = or better
Proving my point, Jay (Nas too) was around that bar in 1996 due the competitiveness big set.

98-onwards, shiny suit jay era wasn’t no lyrical pressure let’s be real

Not saying Jay ain’t got bars but big was doing cinematic raps, whole movie scripts in 3 16s

Jay had exactly 1 year of shiny suit and that was 97 and he still was no less lyrical than Biggie. U can hear it on Biggie's album. He's on it.

I think both Nas and Jay are more complex lyricists than Big was. Maybe complex is the wrong word, maybe more esoteric? I don't see Big writing a Dynasty Intro type verse for instance. Big had a simpler lyrical style IMO BUT in a really effective way. He didn't need to be complex or esoteric to impress. He was the total package as a rapper, really well rounded, obviously an all time GOAT flow, and he kept getting better and better at rapping up until the end.

Jay nor Big has made the same type of recordings Nas has made over the years.

You're doing too much. BIG died in the 90's so we dont know what range BIG could have gone as years passsed. Nas had the 2000's 2010s and 2020's to flex his range. Comparing the 2 when one had decades to expand his range and one only had 3 years doesn't make sense.
