The Only Way We Win The Melo Situation If He Takes A Fair Deal To Allow Us To Spend On Other Free Agents

We Over Pay Him We Lose

We Let Him Walk, Well We Dont Necessarily Lose But We Wont Be Getting Anything Out Of It

I Know He's Looking At The Knicks Like  "The Decision Is Yours" Nah Homeboy The Decision Is Yours, You Wanna Be Here And Win, Help Us Out, If Not....Well We Peaced Out Ewing Over Less So No One Is Gonna Cry Over You

That's All I'll Say About The Melo Free Agent Talk For The Rest Of The Season
Bron, Wade, and Bosh are the only All-Star players that I know of that have given their team a discount for their services. They get props for that, at least.

I am not sure if Melo wants to do us that favor.

Im Not 100% Sure But Didnt Tim Duncan Restructure His Contract To Allow The Spurs More Spending Flexibility?

Oh....is this why Shump is being publicly scrutinized by Woody and Dolan? Shump and a shooter for Rondo?

:ohhh:

yeah the rumor was it was for shump, but it would of had to probably include novak, camby and likely Felton for cash reasons. To make the money work and likely that same 2016 pick. The reason they went after barg was to be able to keep Shump.

Now to do that deal it would have to be shump, felton, and Barg for Rondo and Celtic trash.

Yep, Dirk did as well

We need to scout Rondo when he returns to see what we could be working with. Boston cannot demand too much since Rondo is a high risk coming off of a major injury and surgery.

Rondo cannot seriously want to play for the Celtics. I am reading that there might be a high demand. I cannot find any information on his return to action.

Rondo can be a knucklehead though. This is all premature speculation but I am not sure if this is what we need or really want.

This whole situation is so fukking exhausting as a fan.

Another restructuring project brehs?

Gut the fukking team for Rondo? Then have to work magic in free agency and mini-trades to become a contender w/ Rondo & Melo?

How long for the chemistry to build? Clearly we'll give Melo the max and wouldn't that limit us even w/ getting Rondo?

shyt, it just never works out for us. I mean..Stat...we knew you would be a health risk but fukk, did anyone expect this bad of a situation where Stat looking like a Viet Vet coming back from a bobby trap war injury?

I mean fukk....

Stat on the bench like

I said this on twitter, and I'll say it here. I highly doubt Melo leaves. He probably wants the free agent experience of teams trying to wow him. Financially, it makes more sense to opt out early & re-up for more bread. I can't be mad at a brother for trying to get more $.

And let's chill with the trade scenario bs, that was one person's opinion.

I Can When Its My Team lol

Theres No Reasonable Explanation That Melo Should Be Making More Money Than LeBron James

I'd Sit Melo Down Look im In The Eye And Ask Him Why He Thinks He Deserves More Money Than LeBron James, Theres Nothing He Can Say To Argue That

I thought that too when he was saying he would stay in NY. I always assumed he would just take his kobe max money and keep it moving. However, bruh wtf does "experience FA" means if its not a message the Knicks need to compete with other teams to convince him to stay? :patrice:

Yeah, but Lebron made up that "lost" bread in endorsements. I'm not saying that Melo should rob us, but still. I trust Melo will make the right decision when the time comes.

But fukk all the free agent talk & trade scenarios, I'm focusing on us busting some ass this year & making a deep playoff run.

I'll compare it to this. It's like you & your girl take a "break". You have a free pass to smash whom you please, but you know that at the end of the day you'll end up with your main girl.

Theres No Competing Cuz No One Can Offer Him As Much As The Knicks As Far As The Money Goes

The Knicks are the only club that can offer him a five-year deal — worth approximately $129 million. Competing teams can go only up to four years — at about $96 million.

So Either He Wants To Leave Or Just Wants The Feeling Of Being Fawned Over
