You have this score that you keep building up and at a certain point you will start to unlock characters in order so Axel Adam
Blaze from SOR 1 Then SOR2 characters and so on

About to finally start a proper playthrough. Only got to play for like 30 minutes yesterday before heading out.

Gonna do co-op first with my bro then focus on unlocking characters. I need my nikka Skate bad (no homo)

Just beat it on Hard difficulty with Blaze. Tried the other characters to mess around. Blaze is filthy. I'm doing Guilty Gear combos on those ruffians

That whole # of lives/score reset and you can change characters between levels thing was directly taken from Final Exam

Along with # of lives being determined by difficulty

I just don’t get why Easy has 6 lives and normal has like 2

Still a dope game

Hopefully they add 4 player online and eventually new characters and levels via dlc
