Straight Outta Compton is a classic movie and it's realer than you think

Prince was still in the group by the time they shot the album cover, so how? He didn't get swapped out for Cube.



If there was a PE movie, Griff would def. have to be in it because he was at the center of one of their biggest controversies, breh.

Besides that, I'm talkin' about time-wise. Almost half the Temptation movie wouldn't exist if it was done for the movies... so there woulda been a gang of shyt missing from it. If Straight Outta Compton ran 4 hours long, it probably woulda had more of the stuff that people felt was so crucial to it. And ultimately, it's a movie, not a documentary... most biopics don't pack every single fact and person into the story because time wouldn't even allow it.

i do understand that, but you have a group with 6 members, one of them was left COMPLETELY out of the picture and then we get a 2pac scene in the film in which he was in prison when Eazy died. Above the Law even makes a cameo. Arabian Prince was there from the beginning. Had a song on SOC. Toured with him. U see nothing wrong with writing one of the first members out of history? Johnny Juice was very important to public enemy. He used to do Terminator X scratches on the albums and music with Bomb Squad. Is he not important enough for a PE movie? Buuuut, if Cube would do a PE film, Griffs screen time would be like Ren or Yella's

Eazy wasn't having money problems man. I know you want to believe what Cube put in that movie, but it's just not true.

Tomica Wright was a producer of the movie as well. I'm sure she is responsible for having that in the movie not Cube or Dre. They wasn't around Eazy after Nwa broke up to know everything that was going on with him.

they made her a producer of the film to get rights to the music that she owns today. Power move. Of course she had input on the story, but no final say. She brought to the table that Jerry was stealing money. The whole "Eazy going broke" shyt was for dramatic scenes.

I been meaning to go back and watch Straight Outta Compton for like a week now.
I didn't see the movie in the theater, I actually bought the movie when it came out on dvd.
I liked the 1st half of it and I thought the 2nd half of the movie bought it the movie down and kept it from being classic but u make some interesting points.
I might go back and watch it again later tonight.

Bg Knocc Out said one night him and Eazy E had a show out in Texas and Scarface and his goons came in 200 deep and rushed the stage. They just wanted to be on stage with Eazy and show love but they was wilding out... then Face's goons started beating up people on the dance floor and Eazy E got scared and tried to run and leave Bg and them lol Eazy was so shook he tried to jump over a wall lol

If there wasn't actual footage of this online of that happening people would be saying that was fake and skinny ass Bizzy Bone wouldn't never pick a gangsta like Eazy E up in the air
