People in Illinois who exhausted aren’t getting shyt still and apparently you can’t even talk to anyone since they operate on some call back people. I know people who’ve been waiting over a month for anything
Just started back on the 31st.emails came out today in Michigan.

Do these fukking people know that it’s not 1970 and 50k isn’t remotely considered middle class?
I think the idea is that most people making 50,000 probably still have their jobs.

If they don’t then unemployment is the aid they need. Not a one-off check.

that's flawed and at least you're cutting checks to people who pay taxes and will use the money

How is it flawed?

The point is to survive a pandemic. If you have a 50,000 a year job, nothing is stopping you from ordering doordash from a local restaurant tonight.

The enhanced UI is more than 1400.

I would think plenty of people who made that much pre-pandemic may have lost income and or a job that helped them equal that 50k or whatever magical threshold. That 1.4k would go a long way to helping them pay their fed/state taxes and or property taxes. We're also basing this off of people income pre-pandemic I think it's incredibly flawed. I know the pandemic hasn't been bad in a lot of places but it's been extremely damaging in NY and it's only been compounded by Trump refusing to give our state the money it is owed.

I don't make 50k a year but if I did I would be really struggling.

Dems gotta give 2k or the 1.4k idc to the same group that got it before. if its to change it has to be more inclusive.

i actually dont know how they even came up with this 75k number. Becuase 75k in different places means something completely different. on top of within that year they couldve lost their job, pay cut, new job that pays less or not getting as much contract work.

but dems gotta realize the people dont care how they get shyt done. just get it done! no one actually cares enough how repubs do stuff. i mean we do but it clearly doesnt bother the masses enough so go scorch the earth to get done what you gotta get done fukk all this p*ssy shyt bruh

Wait, so I won't get the stimmy because my job pays me 70k a year? Or does it go off what you made during the year? Let's say you only worked half the year. You would only make 35k last year. Would I still get a stimmy?

What math are you using?

If you lost income then you would fall under 50,000 and get the 1400.

In most places 50,000 is at least low level managerial positions. Those jobs are always hiring even if it’s in a field like Fast food or grocery stores.

The enhanced UI is what will balance out your income and since it’s guaranteed money for a defined time period you can budget further out.

The people making 22 an hour at a warehouse are ones who will usually end up losing jobs and having to settle for part-time after losing benefits.
