I agree with what the Dems are doing. The problem is with the media. Most people are not going to dig into the details. The only things they are seeing is the headlines. Most of the headlines are “Democrats block stimulus”. A lot of average Americans are unfairly blaming Dems right now. It is shameful what the media is doing.
The headline is correct though.

They can't fit the whole story into the headline.

People are just dumb and rather read headlines and IG and FB posts instead of read.

I hate this era.

Amid criticism that they’re delaying a coronavirus response bill, House Democrats released a counterproposal that bars companies using bailout money to buy back stock and boosts unemployment insurance. This could pressure Senate Republicans to make a deal. https://trib.al/ptnfEKv

As a counterproposal to the Senate's massive aid package proposal to address the coronavirus crisis, House Democrats have released a new bill: the Take Responsibility for Workers and Families Act.

Denmark isn't BSing. Its government is paying 13% of its GDP directly to the workers. Or put another way, the government is 75% of every worker's salary. No questions asked. The tradeoff? The companies can't fire its workers.

Denmark’s Idea Could Help the World Avoid a Great Depression
smh. Another popular and pragmatic socialist policy that will be ignored by politicians
then again, why should we expect congress to support this, when voters prove their priorities are shallow and holds no consequences

:snoop:How about we cut the vote by mail and any climate control and pass the bill.

:leon:Shout out to Bernie for the 2k/month till the crisis is over suggestion.
