A bonus for unemployed people matters more than a bonus for people who work Risking their life and can’t get by? Everybody hurting not just the unemployedOf course not, but the most immediate problem are the 30 million Americans who have lost the unemployment bonus and are in urgent need of assistance. Right NOW, that is all Dems should focus on.
These people are going to have to learn the hard way. A country loaded with guns and hungry people leads to very bad things
Essential workers are getting a paycheck right now, many of them with benefits. We’re really comparing people getting paid with those who abruptly lost their jobs and now have no income? FOH.A bonus for unemployed people matters more than a bonus for people who work Risking their life and can’t get by? Everybody hurting not just the unemployed
he is worse than his fatherAnyone else notice Rand "ANY GOVERNMENT SPENDING IS SOCIALISM! THE CONSITUTION IS THE BIBLE!" Paul has been suspiciously quiet about these executive orders, and instead posted multiple tweets shytting on Never-Trumpers?
Further proving that no one in the GOP has any actual integrity, and will throw away any values they pretend to have to dikkride Trump.
it’s called basic unemployment. Everybody could use extra income. the unemployed already were focused on when they got the extra 600 the first time, it’s time to help everybody. I would love to sit at home and get a check but I can’t.Essential workers are getting a paycheck right now, many of them with benefits. We’re really comparing people getting paid with those who abruptly lost their jobs and now have no income? FOH.
you say that because that's the part most affecting you. hazard pay & safety standards for essential workers, safety nets for small business, mortgage relief - those all need to be addressed. a lot of people not drawing UI are also in dire straits.Of course not, but the most immediate problem are the 30 million Americans who have lost the unemployment bonus and are in urgent need of assistance. Right NOW, that is all Dems should focus on.
i was a fan of the increased UI benefit because it was temporary and i knew that when it ran out (july), a lot of people wouldn't be back at work thus the extra income could float them longer. i'm still in support of them extending it, but let's not act like the unemployed aren't still getting regular state benefits.Essential workers are getting a paycheck right now, many of them with benefits. We’re really comparing people getting paid with those who abruptly lost their jobs and now have no income? FOH.
they didnt abruptly lose their jobs, they lost them 4 months ago and have been getting paid on average 3800 a month since then. and they dont "have no income" now, they have the same state unemployment benefits we've had in place for decades. theres no need for fake narratives, we all know this is fukked up. We’re really comparing people getting paid with those who abruptly lost their jobs and now have no income? FOH.
The bolder is a Trump level spin.they didnt abruptly lose their jobs, they lost them 4 months ago and have been getting paid on average 3800 a month since then. and they dont "have no income" now, they have the same state unemployment benefits we've had in place for decades. theres no need for fake narratives, we all know this is fukked up
and for the record, you're right. chuck and nancy clearly SHOULD meet with the repubs for a "just unemployment" bill, and leave the pork for a later date but they won't
and if they did, then the CARES act said they got paid up until now im not going to argue facts with you. not even trying to argue at all, just looking at what the reality of the situation isThe bolder is a Trump level spin.
People definitely lost their jobs abruptly and when it happened is irrelevant.
Your post on unemployment isn’t fact and there’s numbers that show it. Are you denying the unemployment numbers?and if they did, then the CARES act said they got paid up until now im not going to argue facts with you. not even trying to argue at all, just looking at what the reality of the situation is
no one in here wants to admit it, but democrats are failing this given the balance of power. if they care so badly about getting this money out to the people, then there's NO WAY they shouldnt be negotiating a just unemployment relief bill right now and leave all the bullshyt for later. what the fukk are they even spending two trillion dollars on; is anyone asking that?
