You live in the Tristate area right? Have they flattened the curve? When you do venture out to bars, restaurants and the shore, start a thread and let us know how it works out for you. We can use a guinea pig. Do it for the Coli.

They opened some outdoor patio seating at restaurants in my state yesterday and i still have not seen one person sitting outside.

Of course its still super early and im sure plenty of people arent even aware of that yet but if no one is sitting outside then there is no way people will be sitting inside any time soon in my estimation. But, its a 3 day weekend and weather looks good so ill look around and see whats up

As much as id like to have a burger on a restaurant patio with a beer in the sun..id prefer to grill my own burger and sit on my deck with a beer and not die

Casinos open here June 1st. The safety guidelines dont even make it worth going to gamble honestly. Im a degenerate but the people that end up going in these conditions are next level. Theyre talking about not touching the cards...which makes sense..but how many games does that even enable? Just blackjack? And with like 2 people at each table? Then with slots you gotta wear a mask and wipe every machine down every time you sit down. Why go through all that just to lose a grand? That drive home would be a whole new level of misery.

But they told me “If they open it, they will come” :heh:

That’s the fallacy in on this whole open up claims. Most establishments are probably going to lose more money by partially opening up due to fixed costs and scaled down business, than they would just staying closed.

I don’t have the answers Sway, but it occurs to me that we are in some deep shyt that “opening up” hare brained schemes are not going to be able to solve.

Sober leadership is so needed right now. :mjcry:

Someone get in touch with Ja.

How do you define a success?
success = deaths dont increase, then eventually taper downwards. hospitals arent overwhelmed. people go back to a relatively normal life, jobs trickle back

by the way, you support telling the entire country they cant go to church, right? you know, because anyone who wants to go to church wants people to die

My portfolio would greatly benefit from successful openings. But we have evidence in Georgia that it’s not working. Look breh, 25% unemployment is some shyt that I wish we didn’t have to deal with.

I don’t think even the experts know how to deal with a quarter of the working population out of work. It’s sobering to say the least.
