With Bernie Saners dropping out of the race you essentially have 2 Republicans running. Joe Biden is really a Republican if you just scratch a little under the surface. - Peter Lavelle
:sas2:

I peeped that. Peter is working for RT after all.

Also, Peter always says he’s a conservative. Is he now saying Biden is to his right? :russ:

The Trump administration is reportedly working on plans to reduce the wages of foreign farmworkers, who make up about 10 percent of farm laborers, to help the industry as it faces financial hardship during the coronavirus pandemic. Farm group leaders say those workers are worried they may lose their jobs and are already vulnerable, living in cramped housing without proper hand-washing facilities during the pandemic, and such a pay cut would come as the United Nations warns of food shortages during the pandemic.

"The administration is considering all policy options during this unprecedented crisis to ensure our great farmers are protected, and President Trump has done and will do everything he can to support their vital mission," a White House official told NPR.

im all for the french revolution sentiment....but dont they have to pay it back? :dead:

i mean whats the answer to that question? didnt the banks actually have to pay the government back for their bailout in 08? because that kinda frames it differently from this "handout" narrative

irresponsible actors no doubt push out "responsible" competition during boom markets, can't pay that back. When it goes bust the federal government will make any hedge fund or overleverged company whole while the average citizen is left to become homeless or starve. It's fukked but worth pointing out

but if you lost your job, you end up getting paid 130% of what you were making at your job in unemployment checks :dahell: what more did we need to give out?

and if you still have your job, you get your paychecks plus this check

i don't think we fell short here :yeshrug: other than time to get the checks out, but we have 11x Canada's population
Our economy is 11x bigger than Canada’s tho:dead:
