That's the point. Claiborne was a 'can't miss prospect' at the time of his drafting and yet he never amounted to anything for us. Ramsey doesn't even have a history of getting turnovers in college. He may turn out to be a great player, but cornerbacks don't typically play great in their first couple of years. It took Scandrick until his second contract to really produce. Drafting Ramsey wouldn't pay dividends until after Romo is headed out the league.
