He's like most of us: desperately wants something to believe in with this team.
Difference between him and most of us is we don't have a platform and an expectation to be a hype machine. He gets gassed off a lot of mediocre or average performances by our players all the time.
I wouldn't say he's a homer but an eternal optimist, which is surprising given how god awful this franchise has been to us for 20 years now. His enthusiasm keeps him from seeing how moribund this franchise is.
I bet if you asked him, he'd tell you he expects Sean Lee to play all 16 games this next season. He'd say he thinks Marinelli will work his magic and have us getting to the QB in the first 4 weeks. He'd say Church or Wilcox will step up and give us a good safety tandem with Jones back there.
