U said it like having PG meant something. We all saw what he did the next playoffs In LA. Russ had no chance those three years without KD. PG ain’t like that
Once again, if you're shytting on PG13 as an inadequate sidekick, then what does it say about Russ that he played even worse than that "inadequate sidekick"?

And we did see what he did the next playoffs, he won 7 games. Which is as many as Russ has won IN THE LAST FOUR YEARS COMBINED. :laff:

PG13 shot a better % last year than Russ ever has in any postseason. Played better defense too. And he was a good enough sidekick to win 7 games with Kawhi in just 1 year, while with Russ he could only manage 3 wins over 2 years.

I've pointed out to you three times now that PG13 played well in 5 of the 8 Thunder playoff losses. And Russ played much worse on both sides of the ball in all of them. So why are you still shytting on PG13? Do you actually think that Westbrook plays like a GOAT in the playoffs or not?

Westbrook single handedly de valued the triple double.

Back in the day when s guy got a triple double you were sure that his team won, or he got them close to winning. I bet Ice Cube won the pick up game where he fukked around and got a triple double.

But Westbrook? The padding of his rebound numbers, the poor basketball IQ, the fact that most of the time when he passes, it's only to get an assist, all adds up to one of the most overrated players ever. I'm hard pressed to think of a worse MVP than Westbrook.

Steph is a better defender than Westbrook
That’s objectively untrue.
You do not know what objectively is. :mjlol:

Steph gives effort, has quick hands and is smart in the passing lanes, he's just small and has trouble staying in front of guys. Westbrook doesn't play smart OR with effort, he can't stay in front of guys AND he makes bad decisions off ball.

Russ is one of the worst effort defenders in the game. I have never seen Steph put his hands on his knees and stand next to the basket waiting for rebounds instead of guarding his man. I've never seen Steph's man get the ball without Steph even trying to move towards him. I've never seen Steph turn in place and let his man blow by him without even putting his hand out.

Westbrook will do all those things even in the clutch moments of a playoff game. It's embarrassing. :francis:

:gucci: He has a 75% win percentage. It was 80% before this season.

Uh I wouldnt say that at all lol. I'd give him that he was a better passing lane defender when they had a league leading defense, but as of 2020, Westbrook is almost 80 spots higher in defensive rating (a flawed stat, admittedly), but has gotten that on what was a historically horrible defense at one point. I don't think Russ is great by any means, but considering that he appears (to me) to be a better on ball defender while also actively seeking uncontested rebounds, I think he's better

side note: after looking at team drtgs, Wizards are significantly lower than Warriors (14 spots lower) and 9 spots lower in points given up :yeshrug: Curry is worse in a significantly better system

This thread is the worst. Usually suspects making long as post diminishing each players importance using whatever analytics they can use to justify their viewpoint...

The OP addressed this in the first point, but leave it to the Coli to turn this in 8-9 page thread on whose better, wtf :mjlol::francis::why:

So basically you're talking steals. They avg roughly the same number of steals per game. And Russ has more career steals. He avg more blocks. And do we even need to bring up rebounding?
